A couple of years ago, before the FightLab launched, the only option was to try and get direct from Bangkok. This could be timely and if there was a spelling mistake or mix up with the orderyou would be back to square one. This is not the case these days as we have set up two fight stores and have our own factory right here in Phuket. if you look across the road from the Fightlab in Rawai you will see our little custom shorts production line hammering away day and night getting the shorts done.
Thankfully We have two retail stores.(for now) one up in Chalong located on the same road as Tiger Muay Thai/Dragon and the freshly opened Phuket Top Team, not forgetting one of the oldest gyms on the tropical island a stones throw way Suwit Gym and Muay Thai stadium. The primaryand bigger store is placeddown in Rawai, not to far-off from Rawai Muay Thai/Sinbi Muay Thai/Phromthep and Lion Muay Thai training gym. So you can slip in to either fight stores in-between training, Sit down with one of our girls that speak really good English. Have a look through the catalogues/draw up a idea or email over your designs. Another possibility if your not worried about being to individual is purchasing a off the pair rail of Muay Thai shorts and simply adding text. This can be done for as less as 200 THB on top of the shorts price. We also have our own selection of Thai boxing short for 500-750 THB so you get a custom pair for as little as 700 THB! If you go totally out and get your own unique pair of shorts then you will pay between 1000-1400 THB for Muay Thai kickboxing shorts and 1,200-1,800 for Boxing or k1 trunks. In truth you would pay that for branded Thai boxing short from twins/top king/fairtex or any other top brand. So you may as well tune in to your inventive side and come up with your own unique pair.

How long does it take?
Well if you just want the text you will be able to pick them up the following day. For the complete custom shorts we try to turn them around in three days. We also make for Thai kickboxing brands in Australia/U.K and Worldwide and also do bulk gym orders. It can take up to a week. We are working on having six staff allocate to the walk in shorts and the same for the website orders.
How are they made?
We make them from scratch, yes scratch! a large amount of people think we add the flames/logos text to the shorts but it all starts of from rolls of cloth. The benefit of this is that you can alter the length/cut of the shorts so really you are getting a pair of tailor made Thai kick boxing shorts.
What fabric is used?
99% of the Thai kick boxing shorts that are made are made from satin and this goes for the one we make as well, its high quality and very resilient, Preferably this is the fabric for your fight shorts. Training Muay Thai shorts are made from parachute fabric which is light, quick to wash and quick to dry ready for the afternoon training session. We also have this available for customisation along with a standard range of Thai boxing
